How we keep your PC safe
Verify every download
Every release lists a SHA-256 checksum so you can confirm the installer is exactly what we published and has not been tampered with. Builds are an early release and not yet code-signed, so Windows may show a first-run warning.
Restore-first, always reversible
A System Restore point is created before any change is made. If a tweak is not for you, it rolls back in full. Nothing is one-way.
Standard Windows APIs only
uOptimise uses documented, supported Windows interfaces. It does not inject into other programs or rely on undocumented hacks that break on the next update.
It never reads your files
The app does not open your documents or read browser data. It works on system settings, services and caches, not your personal content.
How we keep your account safe
Hardware-bound uTrust licensing
Your licence is locked to your PC, so a leaked key cannot be used by anyone else. You get one free reset to move to a new machine, and an admin can grant another on request.
Mandatory two-factor authentication
Every account is protected by 2FA with an authenticator app. Even if your password leaks, your account, devices and billing stay yours.
What we never do

- We do not use fake scan counts or scare tactics to push a sale
