Getting started

A Windows 10 and 11 app that optimises performance, repairs Windows, monitors hardware, reclaims storage and hardens privacy, with cloud licensing and account management behind it. One app, six centres, every change reversible.

The trial is the complete application, free for 48 hours, and no card is required to start it. When the 48 hours end nothing is charged and nothing renews, you simply decide whether to buy the lifetime licence.

uOptimise is an early release from a small publisher and is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen or your antivirus may warn on first run. Choose More info, then Run anyway. You can confirm your download is genuine by matching the SHA-256 checksum published on the download page.

Yes. Creating an account requires setting up two-factor authentication with an authenticator app. That protects your licence and your registered devices.

Licence and billing

One plan: $4.99, paid once, for lifetime access. Every feature is included, there is no locked pro tier, no subscription and no renewal. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card.

Because we make money the honest way, one small price from many people. No ads, no data sold, nothing bundled with the installer, no subscription. The low price is the point, not a catch.

Each licence is locked to one PC. You get one free hardware reset to move it. After that, open a ticket in the Support Centre under the HWID reset category and an admin can grant another.

Refunds are available within 12 hours of purchase, but only if you have not run any optimisation. Once a PC has been optimised the refund is voided. The full policy is on the refund page, read it before you buy.

Sign in to the portal on uoptimise.org. Your licence, registered devices and billing history all live under your account, from any PC.

Safety and privacy

A System Restore point is created before any change is made, so anything can be undone. uOptimise never injects into other programs or relies on undocumented hacks that break on the next Windows update.

Standard hardware and OS identifiers for licence enforcement and anti-fraud, plus any accounts you choose to link. We do not read your documents or browser contents. The Privacy policy has the full detail.

Never. We collect identifiers for licence enforcement and anti-fraud only, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Every release lists its SHA-256 checksum on the download page. Compare it against the file you downloaded and you know, byte for byte, that you have the genuine installer.

Using the app

A one-click action that analyses your PC and applies every recommended optimisation in one pass. A System Restore point and backups are created first, so the whole run can be rolled back.

The standard Windows repair tooling, without the command line: SFC for protected system files, DISM for the component store, plus Windows Update and network stack resets, each with a plain-language summary of what was fixed.

Restore the System Restore point uOptimise created before the change, from the app or from Windows itself. Changes are also journalled, so you can see exactly what was touched and when.

Uninstall from Windows Settings under Apps, like any other program. If you want your previous settings back afterwards, restore the most recent restore point first, then uninstall.
